Amita was born and raised in Jersey but her music can take you as far as India. Throughout Amita's life she has been trained in Indian classical music from some of the worlds best musicians from America and India.

Her love for R&B and popular music was influenced by her favorites which include Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Brandy, and the late great Aaliyah. From classical music to modern day R&B, Amita can sing and play it all. Amita plays various instruments such as Piano, Sitar, and the Guitar.

She writes her own lyrics and music and produces some of her music as well. Her style of singing is smooth and filled with soul. From R&B to pop to ballads, versatility is no problem for her. Whether it be live or recorded - you will hear a true artist - and a star in the making.
