LOCAL MUSIC SPOTLIGHT: Nick Speed
WHO HE IS: Nicholas Speed is a Detroit beat maker who signed to 50 Cent's G-Unit Label as an in-house producer in August under his recording name Nick Speed. Speed created a stir with his record label Libido Sounds, a joint venture with Elzhi from local hip-hop duo Slum Village. He has produced tracks for 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Snoop Dogg and MOP.
